Brief description
I was born in Medellín Colombia. Always in love with medicine and computers. I went to the medical school and had the opportunity of discovering Medical Informatics, since then it is a passion.
Right now I’m married, and enjoying my two daguhters.
I’m a current PhD candidate at School of Health Information Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston . This is my fourth year working with Decision Making Support in the point of care. Particularly the use of multimedia job aids by Community Health Workers. Projects related with Medal and Guideview.
Additionally I have a faculty appointment at the School of Medicine at Universidad de Antioquia Medellin - Colombia
My goal is to promote Health Informatics in Colombia, becoming an academic leader, providing solutions adapted to the country's reality.
